IT Infrastructure And Network Security Expertise for your Business

Whether you are looking for a single server host or firewall, or seeking a partner to work with your complete infrastructure refresh, we have the know-how and experience to assist your business.

Core IT Infrastructure

We work across the whole infrastructure spectrum including broadband connectivity, server hardware specifications, compute and virtualisation, networking, data storage, disaster recovery, business continuity, power and cooling. We are able to design and implement the entire network or simply a single component. Our modus operandi is to add strength to your infrastructure, be it in performance, reliability, security or ease of management.

Network & Cyber Security

Our security consultancy services cover a comprehensive range including perimeter defence, penetration testing and vulnerability scanning, Security Information and Event management (SIEM), and data loss prevention.

Test Drive our Services for Free

Whatever your requirements, we offer a free 2-hour consultation to discuss your project(s) and/or exchange experiences and provide informed opinions.  We have found this “get to know your project” session to be by far the most productive activity in that it identifies potential shortcomings, opens up new ideas and enhances mutual confidence to deliver the project successfully.

IT Protocol have provided us with an easy to understand IT strategy for both our Syon Park facility and our Estate Office in Surrey. They are pragmatic IT consultants who understand our requirements and we have retained them for over 10 years to support, maintain and refresh our systems.

Michael Baxter

Estate Manager, Duke of Northumberland Estates

As a charity, we have a limited budget and needed our IT partner to understand this and work with us within such financial constraints. IT Protocol recognised our situation and helped us plan our infrastructure development over a medium term, prioritising the upgrade of core areas such as security, storage and disaster recovery. More recently, they have helped us to rationalise our server farm with greater virtualisation to reduce running costs. Their project management has in particular been meticulous and considerate with regards to minimising our operational downtime. It has been a very successful partnership for our two organisations.

Martin Richardson

Finance Director, Action Medical Research

As the international head office for our operation, we need a very reliable IT system to ensure a smooth 24x7 operation, helping us to keep in touch with all our regional colleagues, suppliers and customers across the globe. IT Protocol designed, implemented and maintained our whole network, working closely with our parent company in certain application sharing activities. When we relocated to our new offices a few years ago, it was an opportunity to implement server virtualisation technology to rationalise our IT and to save on capital investment and running costs. IT Protocol took us to the fore of this and we benefitted immensely, including a very high-performing network. They are a critical business partner of ours and we value their services.

Mark Bassage

Chief Financial Officer, Merisol GP LLC a Sasol Group subsidiary

IT Protocol have been an integral member of our IT team ever since we started our UK operations about 15 years ago. They have been involved with our infrastructure refresh programmes through to managing our local user equipment. Their team work ethic and 'can do' versatility combination is an invaluable resource to our business.

Andreas Geil

Director Information Technology, Underwriters Laboratories, Europe & Latin America

At CCSR, we needed a very stable and robust 24x7 Test Bed infrastructure to consolidate our research and experimentation efforts in the area of Future Internet networks involving a wide range of academics and industrial partners around the world. As our resources are limited, we focussed on a platform with minimum management. IT Protocol designed, scripted and implemented an 'automated system' based on VMware vSphere and HP technology to drive the Test Bed servers and a dedicated SAN. The first pilot scheme took off successfully and we were suitably impressed and subsequently commissioned IT Protocol to expand the entire infrastructure. It is important to note that IT Protocol have helped us deliver a very important system for our research work, experimentation and demonstration - on time and within budget. Their consultancy service has been of a very high quality and we appreciate their flexibility to work within our budgetary constraints as an educational establishment.
